Trophykart T-20 Cricket Fiesta - 5th Edition 26th March, 2016 onwards Venue: CECG Sports Grounds (Behind Decathlon, Sarjapur Road) Only 10 Teams to take part in the Tournament on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis. Format: Teams would be divided into groups of 5. Top two from each group qualifies for Semis. Followed by Finale. Entry Fee is Rs.14000. The Tournament will be completed in continuous weekends (subject to weather conditions). There will be no interruption in match schedules due to non availability of grounds. Prize and recognition: Each game will have a Performer of the Match (POTM) recognized. Goodies from the sponsor ACE CRICKETER. Winners and runners-up will walk away with trophies on the finals day. Winning Team(15 Playes) would be presented with T-Shirts. Player of the series, Best Batsman & Best Bowler would be awarded with Trophy. Rules: Points: Win (2) Tie (1)* Loss (0) 20 overs a side. 6 overs mandatory power play [2 people outside the circle]. There can be a maximum of 5 fielders outside the circle in the non-power play overs. All teams are required to show-up 15 minutes ahead of the match start time Teams showing up with less than 10 people will be disqualified and the match will be forfeited by default to the opposition. A delay in start of play will cause a reduction of an over from each innings every 10 minutes. Each team gets a maximum of 85 minutes to bowl its overs. Teams not completing their overs on time are penalized 10 runs an over for every over they are short (batting first or second). RAIN RULE: If rain intervenes in the first innings after the start of the game, the game will be called-off with points shared between the two sides If the rain intervenes at the conclusion of the first innings, the game will be called-off with points shared between the two sides If the rain intervenes in the second innings before 5 overs are bowled, the game will be called-off with points shared between the two sides If the rain intervenes in the second innings with 5 or more overs complete, the game will be called decided by D/L method Matches that do not start at all because of rains will be rescheduled to a later date All teams are expected to show-up in white tracks and spike-less shoes. No tournament provided jerseys for this tournament. Umpires? decisions will be deemed final. The schedule of the tournament and ties will not be altered for any reason other than unsavory playing conditions. *Matches ending in a tie in the league phase will NOT involve a SUPER OVER. ONLY knock-out matches ending in a tie will be decided by a SUPER OVER.
